ECOCERT is a certification body established in France in 1991, recognized by all private and public institutions in the world, and providing international "Organic Certificates". In order to qualify for certification by ECOCERT, it is necessary to fulfill requirements that are much higher than traditional cosmetic product regulations.
These obligations are chain conditions extending from the production process to the raw material (while growing the plant, collecting, watering with clean water, formulating, filling, packaging, placing in the warehouse). These conditions assure the consumer, from the evaluation of all processes in the production chain and the substances in the product, to the use of the highest quality ecological content and to the issues of environmental sensitivity.
